When It Doesn’t Feel Like Growth

✧ Reflection:

There are seasons where it feels like nothing is happening. Where you’re doing the work, saying the prayers, staying faithful... and still feel stuck. But just because it’s quiet doesn’t mean God is absent. Some of the deepest growth happens underground—beneath the surface, where roots stretch wide before anything ever blooms.

Your obedience is not wasted.

Your softness is not weakness.

And the harvest you can’t see yet is still growing.

God never asked you to bloom on command. He asked you to stay rooted.

Journal Prompt:

● What part of your life feels like “buried potential” right now?
● What does staying rooted in faith look like practically for you this week?

Song to Bloom With: “Goodness of God” – CeCe Winans

Let it play while you journal or rest. Let your spirit feel the truth of it.

Closing Prayer:

God, remind me that silence doesn’t mean stillness. Remind me that You’re working even when I can’t see it. Help me stay planted in Your presence. Trusting that in due time, I will bloom.
Amen.
